We focus on national (as opposed to international) Energy policy lobbying and advocacy in South Africa.
We seek to influence and inspire policies and development plans that can ensure sustainable access to Energy in South Africa. Our work is grounded in principles of universal justice.
Related themes of concern to us are: water, food, local government, community building and the legislative environment required to enable a just transition to a low carbon lifestyle.
We cooperate with and contribute to capacity within the civil society sector; we seek advice from our academic partners and we carry out research ourselves where we can fill a gap.
